Green Roof solutions.

WaterTight Construction have a variety of Green Roof Solutions, and are well equipped to offer a best fit specification and install methodology.

A warm roof is structured so as the insulation is situated directly at the building’s roof envelope, positioning the “cold zone” to the outside of building eliminating condensation and creating a superior value of insulation, in both cooling and heating applications. Although a relatively new concept in New Zealand building practices, for over 30 years the Warm Roof has dominated design brief throughout the world.

WE ENJOY WORKING ON A DIVERSE RANGE OF PROJECTS

Wintec Trades & Services Complex.

April 10 2014

Architect firm Chow Hill employed a well-appointed team to this project whom upheld a very high level of quality throughout the entirety of this project.

With standards set early in the piece, WaterTight Construction were well formed & prepared for its duty to maintain the performance levels required to positively enhance the building’s envelope. Giving the buildings purpose, to house the learning spaces of our next trades & services people, director Nathan Taranaki felt an honour & duty to deliver workmanship that could be showcased for students to aspire to. Fletcher Construction acting as main contractor, ensured Health & Safety procedures sat at the forefront of daily construction movements. A range of metal roof & wall claddings with vast flashing design detailing enhanced the finish of the new Wintec building. Dimond Roofing’s site roll formed DD630 acted as the primary roof cladding. With the profiles ability to be conceal clip fixed the issues often present with metal expansion & contraction over long runs were elevated, allowing 4500m2 of roofing to be installed without a single penetrating screw fixing.
